


$10.6 MILLION PROJECT LOAN FOR NIGERIAN MINE
Origin was mandated as lead financier in a USD $10.6 million project loan for a mineral mine transaction in Nigeria which spurred the sale of mining equipment from Caterpillar.
The transaction for Base Resource involved Cat machines including two large Cat 6060 hydraulic shovels, Cat 793F haul trucks, large Cat 994F wheel loaders, graders and dozers.
The Torkula Village project is a world-class lead/zinc and barite deposits with many inter crossing veins. (Barite is used as an additive in drilling fluid/mud for oil/gas drilling operations (85-90% barite consumption), as well as in the pigment and aerospace industry.
